I think it's the man with coffee he pour the coffee in the mixer and rotated it , to increase the heat of it and that's why it has a different taste than usual plus he showed the burning house and he was the first one to see the person dead most of the time the first person does something before everyone comes like evidence tampering

My theory is he melted the ice cubes using toaster by heating them on top of it and used mixer to mix melted ice water & instant coffee to make that weird tasting coffee.

We don't know if Meijin felt cold or hot though. Besides, her ice cream all looked untouched, and a mixer won't do any good to those (will just make them mushy and ruin those).
